Our Story

Sprouted in 2016, Yard to Fork is a foodscape design and installation company offering edible garden coaching and maintenance services to the greater Sacramento area communities. We specialize in landscaping with organic edible plants, custom raised garden beds, drip irrigation, and the care and pruning of fruit trees within any landscape.

Think of us as your personal urban farmers as we assist you in growing quality fruits and vegetables right in your own yard.  We have a passion for growing food that stems from our desire for everyone to have easy access to nutritionally sound fruits and vegetables; and we want you and your family to enjoy these healing foods - the fruits of OUR labor.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve local residential communities in the Farm to Fork capital of Sacramento and surrounding areas by establishing and maintaining sustainable organic edible landscapes that connect and engage people with their closest food source.

  • We design, build, and maintain beautiful food-producing yards—raised beds, fruit trees, irrigation, and edible landscaping—so families can grow fresh food right in their own backyard without the hassle.

  • It starts with a quick consultation. We look at your space, talk about your goals, and design a garden that fits your yard and your skill level. Once approved, we schedule installation and set everything up for you.

  • Every project is custom with most installations ranging from small starter beds to full backyard transformations. We provide a clear, itemized estimate after your consultation—no surprises. But to give you an idea, one 4 × 8 simple design garden bed starts at around $1,500, which includes all materials, organic soil installation, drip irrigation set up, and plants.

  • Yes. We focus on healthy soil, organic amendments, pollinator-friendly practices, and no-spray approaches to keep your garden natural and safe for kids and pets.
